I love commissions. It’s gratifying to work on a painting that already has a home and satisfies someone's specific need. I don't mind matching your decor and dealing with restrictions. For me, it is still a contemplative, visionary process.

Details help: A painting best suited for a living room that hosts parties would be quite different from the one suited for a living room primarily for quiet repose or meditation.
Be sure to include your contact information, and I'll take it from there and get back to you fairly quickly.
Completion takes one to six months depending on the painting’s size, complexity, and my previous commitments.
When the painting is finished, I will email photos to you so that you can accept the final painting before I deliver or ship it to you.
When the painting is approved, I will deliver it personally or by an insured carrier, professionally crated for safe transport and delivery. Crating and shipping are variable additional charges.
I like to quip that I charge by the square inch - and that is not far off. Small costs less, large costs more. A small custom abstract painting can be commissioned for as little as $500 and a wall-sized painting can run to several thousand dollars. The complexity of the painting is a consideration too. So I refrain from quoting custom art fees until some discussion of what you want has occurred.
A ½ non-refundable deposit of the total commission fee is required to start the procedure.
The balance, including all additional expenses (framing, crating, shipping) is payable before the painting ships.
